Presentation Tools
Presenter: Becca Cahill
This session will introduce you to some alternatives to using PowerPoint for presentations, as well as present some advice for making presentations engaging. We will spend time discussing how to cite sources in a presentation and what tools make sense for collaboration.

Adding images to your presentation can capture the interest of the audience and help illustrate your examples. However, these images need to be given proper attribution- copyright laws still apply!
See below for information on how to incorporate image attribution into your presentation. There are also some links for sources of images using a Creative Commons License- meaning you can use them without specific permission as long as you provide information on where the images came from.
There are literally dozens of web-based apps for creating online presentations. Some are very similar to PowerPoint, and some are very different, with a bigger focus on audio, video, or collaboration. Try them and see!
