This is a hands-on workshop for those who want to get started using Prezi. Reference/Serials Librarian Becca Cahill will take you through the process of signing up for the service and starting a presentation. Suitable for those who have not yet used Prezi as well as those who would like to try using it with someone on hand to answer questions and help troubleshoot problems. If you have images, PowerPoints you would like to convert, or notes for a presentation feel free to bring them along.
Ebooks at the library

We've been busy at the library adding ebooks to our collections. This workshop will give you an overview of what type of ebooks we have available, where to find them, and how to download them to your mobile device or e-reader if allowed by our license agreement. If time allows we will also discuss other places to find quality ebooks besides the big-name sites you may already be familiar with.
Personalizing Databases

In this workshop Becca Cahill will demonstrate personalization features of our EBSCO databases that allow you to save and retrieve entire searches, set up RSS feeds that will deliver citations for newly added articles on your topic to your e-mail, and organize your research. If time allows, we will also explore personalization features of some of our other non-EBSCO databases.
