This semester several sections of Composition I (GLE 110) will use art and dialogue about respect to become better readers and writers. Christine Destrempes, our Visiting Artist, and Joni Doherty, our Director of the New England Center for Civic Life, will lead us in a Public Participation Art Project (PPAP). Participating in this project will involve: telling and listening to our stories about respect; writing a personal narrative about respect; decorating a cardboard box to represent respect; presenting the box and our own Artist’s Statement; and celebrating the PPAP installation together with many other sections.
