What I found interesting was that a person's psychological processes can physically effect a person's body. With mind-body connection, people can actually be more aware of their surroundings. Many people that have psychological disorders could potentially have harmful health issues as well. I'm also really interested in what an individual could do to prevent certain types of psychological disorder.
What I find interesting about the mind-body connection is that there may be a link between stress and your health. What I'd like to learn more about is if there is a correlation between mental and physical health, how can we manage our mental health to make sure that our physical selves are the best they can be and why does mental health have an affect on our bodies?

Mind-Body Connection is a topic that is constantly being researched and studied for the reason that it is such a diverse topic. The Mind-Body Connection is the topic of how an individual's psychological processes can effect their physical processes. Many psychological disorders are proven to cause many diverse health risks. Many people practice mind-body connections through physical movement including, meditation and exercise. Many studies support the idea that living a healthy lifestyle can improve a person's mindfulness and other psychological processes.
Studies were performed to prove the idea that Mind-Body connection can effect a person's physical qualities. Many diverse researchers underline the importance of a healthy lifestyle and how it can improve psychological disorders.
In this article many researchers study how cancer can be a result of psychological disorders. This shows the connection between the mind and the body and how studies are implicated to obtain a better understanding of how they can prevent certain health risks. In this particular article they underline the relation between depression and cancer.
In this article researchers underline the importance of how certain mindful practices can improve individual's physical qualities. The mindful practice that these researchers used was spiritual practices. The study was performed to validate the importance of mindfulness and how it can improve a lifestyle to the point of it being considered a "healthy" one.

I learned that many studies have been performed to stress the importance of how an individual's psychological processes should be tended to for the result of a healthy lifestyle. Through physical activities that focus on the mind, a person's immune system is strengthened and can prevent health risks.
I learned that we all have the mind-body connection. Keeping a positive and healthy mind can have a direct effect on keeping a healthy body. Making your mental health a priority could prevent sickness and disease that may occur in your future. It is important to treat your body right if you want your body to treat you right.
