National Radio Day

A digital display to recognize radio's value and to celebrate radio station broadcast histories.

August 20 is National Radio Day

National Radio Day enables us to recognize the value of radio and to celebrate radio station broadcast histories. DiPietro Library celebrates this day of observance with a print and digital book display on radio broadcasting as well as by exhibiting information about local radio stations and the history of radio broadcasting at Franklin Pierce, from WFPR, the original  Franklin Pierce College radio station, to the Talon Radio Station (105.3 FM The Talon) by Pierce Media Group that exists today.
