Faculty Workshops at the Library: Using Databases

Session Overview

March 26, 2010 - Using the Library’s Databases

Presenter: Becca Cahill

The Franklin Pierce Library subscribes to a multitude of article databases, and figuring out how to best leverage them for classes and research can be time consuming. This session will present some of the major features of our library databases, including an explanation of how to set up personalized accounts that will store and organize citations and articles you have located. Recent changes and additions to the databases will be covered, as well as search strategies that can be applied across different database platforms. If you are thinking of attending please let Becca Cahill know  so that she can tailor the presentation to your disciplinary interests and questions.
