The New York Times (possibly somewhat early in the century) has released a list of the books their voters consider the best books of the century. Voters included over 500 novelists, non-fiction writers, poets, critics, and the staff of the New York Time Book Review.
Curious as to what they picked? On these pages you can find a list of all the books as they are released this week (July 8-12, 2024) and links to them in the DiPietro Library catalog.
Setting up a New York Times account isn't necessary to view this list, but is a benefit offered to FPU staff, faculty, and students. Information on how to set up an account can be found below.

Obviously, everyone has their own idea of what book(s) should be on a Best Books list, so the New York Times let their readers vote for their choices.
Thirty nine books appeared on both lists, but 61 of the entries on the Reader's Top 100 were different! You can search for these titles in our catalog.
DiPietro Library has 80 of these titles, and the other 20 can be requested through Interlibrary Loan.
