Clinical Mental Health Counseling

The DiPietro Library offers several different tools to aid you in your research.

The first and most important one is the librarians!  Please do not hesitate to reach out for more information about library resources or for help with a research question.

  • Chat with a librarian using the "Ask A Question" button on this page or on the Library Resources page in Canvas.
  • Text us at 603-413-2787
  • Make an appointment to meet with a librarian either in person or via Zoom.  We can assist you with using library resources or help you with a specific research question.
  • No librarians available? Don't worry!  You can fill out our question form and a librarian will generally get back to you within 24 hours.

Interlibrary Loan
If a book or article you are looking for isn't in one of our databases or online catalog you can request that the library obtain it for you.  Generally these are available at no or low cost (we'll contact you if there is a cost to approve.)  Most article ILLs arrive with 2-7 days, books take longer because of shipping. There are several ways you can request an Interlibrary Loan:

  • You can request it through the database you are researching in - most have a link to request an article if it's not available in the database.
  • Our catalog includes a button to request an item via interlibrary loan.
  • You can fill out the Interlibrary Loan request form on our website

Google Scholar & LibKey

  • Google Scholar can be a valuable resource when researching.  Follow the directions on the Google Scholar page to set up a connection with the DiPietro Library which will linkyou to articles in our subscription databases.
  • LibKey is a browser extension that, once installed, will link you to resources in our databases or to an ILL form so you can request the item.
