Information Literacy Learning Outcomes

This document provides an overview of the information literacy learning outcomes that we hope students achieve throughout their four years at Franklin Pierce. We have broken down the skill sets into three categories: beginning, intermediate, and advanced, and have identified the grade levels at which students should have achieved each skill set.

ACRL Frameworks

The Association of College and Research Libraries has created a Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education consisting of six threshold concepts. This framework will help guide information literacy instruction and goals at Franklin Pierce. The Threshold Concepts are as follows:
